Colorimetry with the Cerium Intuitive Colorimeter
Colorimetry can be used to assess the specific tone and saturation of colour that can help to relieve a person’s symptoms associated with visual stress and reading difficulties. Contact us today to book an appointment.
Who Should Have Colorimetry?
Colorimetry is suitable for both adults and children and is recommended on a case-by-case basis. The specialist optometrist will only recommend Colorimetry following an initial Visual Stress and reading Assessment and the successful use of a coloured overlay for at least 3 months.
What Happens During a Colorimetry Assessment?
Under the supervision of our specialist optometrist, you will be guided through a systematic process of selecting a precision tint that alleviates the symptoms of visual stress. A colourimetry assessment lasts approximately 30 minutes and allows the optometrist to assess the effectiveness of a precision colour in relieving symptoms.
